I am fortunate enough to acquire an American building license recently, a double license holder who got licenses of so far America and Japan. Actually, a big movement recently came out in the United States, which became a convincing factor to launch this blog, and the urge has arisen that it is better to introduce it.
It seems that America’s license will go on alone as world standard soon. In other words, regardless of domestic or overseas, as an international accreditation tool for objectively judging the qualities of individual knowledge and experience overseas, we are beginning to serve other country’s architectural design work like international driver’s license. I want to introduce it later on a later date.
On the other hand, it is quite contradictory to the above, but if Japan’s first-class architects get it it will be able to do the building design work in any prefecture within the territory inherent in Japan, but in the United States is not allow to do so…
It is the same as an American car’s driver’s license, and it becomes jurisdiction by state. So it is very complicated, probably because there are 51 ways to acquire an American architect license, there should be several kinds / each state + 1, so if you convert the entire process, I think there are more than 200 ways to convert it. If you are interested, please challenge if you would like to challenge through this blog. Here I would like to introduce the most easy-to-acquire method, mainly for Japanese residents who would read this blog for the majority.
Meanwhile thorough this site, i would like to introduce licensing exchanging method as reciprocity between countries.
